Self-Sufficiency, Wednesday, May 17th, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. McNally will address the process of for
filing for bankruptcy, as well as the options available to those who may be
overwhelmed with credit card debt, facing foreclosure or experiencing asset
repossession. The presentation is free

Workshops and Raffles at Career Fair on Thursday
Attendees who visit the Career Fair at Project Self-Sufficiency on
Thursday, May 11th, will be entered to win a $250 Shop Rite gift
card, and have the opportunity to fine-tune their interview skills and attend
multiple workshops in addition to meeting with area employers. The Career Fair, open 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.,
is designed for job seekers, those who need assistance with job search
techniques, and people who need help navigating their current workplace. Representatives from more than 25 local
businesses and educational institutions will be on hand to promote job openings
and scholastic opportunities. Interview skills
workshops will allow participants to practice interview techniques and obtain
valuable feedback from seasoned professionals.
Resume-writing workshops and seminars about using Linked In will be
facilitated by Project Self-Sufficiency Career Center staff. The Career Fair is free and open to the
public; no registration is required. Project

“Project Self-Sufficiency’s Career Fair allows job seekers to get immediate
feedback on their resume and interview skills, in addition to learning about
job openings and options for furthering their education,” noted Project
Self-Sufficiency Career Center Coordinator Kyersten Geiger. “Attendees can learn new skills and gain the
confidence they need to pursue a successful job search.”
