Learn about Divorce at a Free Seminar


Project Self-Sufficiency will sponsor a free seminar about issues related to Family Law on Wednesday, June 13th, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the agency’s campus, located at 127 Mill Street in Newton.   The program will address child support, grounds for divorce, court procedures, custody, alimony, parenting time, equitable distribution of assets, and other topics related to divorce.  The presentation, which will be facilitated by Dina Mikulka, Esquire, is free and open to the public, but registration is required.  To register call Project Self-Sufficiency at 973-940-3500.

Free Health Care Careers Seminar this Month


A free seminar about health care careers will be offered to teens and adults on Wednesday, May 30th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency.  Dr. Tim Parker will be joined by Registered Nurse Lisa Ferrante and Sussex County Community College Director of Admissions Todd Poltersdorf for a discussion of the background, education and the skills necessary for success.  Questions from the audience will be welcome.  “Becoming You:  Health Care Careers” will explore educational and professional opportunities in vocations such as nurse, dentist, physician, EKG technician, medical assistant, phlebotomist and other medical careers.  The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required.  Interested participants are encouraged to call 973-940-3500 or 844-807-3500 to register.  Project Self-Sufficiency is located at 127 Mill Street in Newton.
