Project Self-Sufficiency will sponsor a free seminar about issues related
to Family Law on Wednesday, August 16th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at
the agency’s campus, located at 127 Mill Street in Newton. The
program will address child support, grounds for divorce, court procedures, custody,
alimony, parenting time, equitable distribution of assets, and other topics
related to divorce. The presentation,
which will be facilitated by Sussex County attorney Mariann Murphy, Esquire, is
free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register call Project Self-Sufficiency at

Free Bankruptcy Seminar this Month
Steve McNally, Esquire, will offer a free Bankruptcy Seminar at Project
Self-Sufficiency, Wednesday, July 19th, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. McNally will address the process of for
filing for bankruptcy, as well as the options available to those who may be
overwhelmed with credit card debt, facing foreclosure or experiencing asset
repossession. The presentation is free

Free Summer Program for Kids
Children ages 5 – 9 are invited to participate in the Sussex County
Family Success Center’s annual Project Vacation program, offered Monday, July 31st
– Friday, August 4th, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., at Project
Self-Sufficiency. This year’s Project
Vacation “Full STEAM Ahead” will use fun activities, games, crafts and special
guest presentations to explore science, technology, engineering, the arts and
mathematics. The program is free and
open to the public but space is limited and advance registration is
required. Project Vacation will take
place at Project Self-Sufficiency’s Community Education Center, which is
located at 127 Mill Street in Newton. Project
Vacation is a program of the Sussex County Family Success Center at Project
